Health, Safety and Environmental training at SGA
November 14th, 2017
Health and safety in the security industry are top priorities. As part of a continuous programme of courses SGA conducted a Health, Safety and Environment training for the company’s Rapid Response department.
The training covers work place safety, environmental management and the use of a collection of safety signs and posters to help improve conditions at work and the fundamentals of risk management.
The training is geared towards making the employees fully aware of their health and safety as well as risk evasion and management; this is aimed at reducing the distress that comes with accidents, ill health and the related costs for individuals and the company.
Josephine Mwongeli, the SGA Health, Safety and Environment Manager, emphasized “We care for the safety of each of our staff, we ensure that they all go through trainings on how to prevent accidents in the work place and that they are equipped with information on how to take care of their wellbeing in any situation.”
