SGA Security sponsors the 2018 Mater Heart Run

SGA Security, Kenya has partnered with the Mater Misericordiae Hospital to a tune of KES 5 million to support the Mater Heart Run which will take place on 26th May 2018.
Through the Mater Cardiac Program which was started in 1995 to identify and treat children with heart ailments, especially those from a poor socio-economic background, the Mater Heart Run has been able to perform over 3000 heart procedures to date through the support of various corporate and individual sponsorships. The program has grown from 20 open hearts annually to 200 cases a year, majority include children whose parents cannot afford the cost of cardiac surgery.
“SGA Security is proud to offer its support to Mater Hospital through this noble initiative. We are keen on being part of a community that is focused on expanding healthcare access, particularly to children and making sure that young children can live up to their maximum fulfilment and be able to be part of our future leaders in this country,” said SGA-Kenya Country Director Martin Ochieng.
The sponsorship was handed over to Mater Hospital during the Mater Heart Run 2018 launch event that was held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
